My Version Of Post-Mortem Report For Singapore GE2011

My Version Of Post-Mortem Report For Singapore GE2011

Another day has passed, another election has been settled, another chapter will be written, for the makings of Singapore.

General Election 2011 for Singapore is not just another election compared to the past history, but its an election where more than half of Singaporeans are given the chance to vote and have their say in the makings of our political landscape. In case you are wondering, most of our past elections, in fact, all the other elections, were mainly walk-overs by our ruling party and there was just too little opposition parties to candidate for those elections, let alone trying to win any.

As for this election, we have more opposition parties, more qualified opposition candidates, and more Singaporeans involved. Our disappointment with our ruling party has spur this election into what we called, a “watershed” election, and the results are not only conclusive, but more of an awakening to our ruling party.

We need changes, we need a more empathetical government, and we want it NOW!

Well, political issues aside, as mentioned before, I’ve never been interested in politics and I really don’t wish to bored myself here. So, instead of analyzing the post election results and dissect the post-mortem report for the Singapore General Election 2011, I have my version of the post-mortem report that is animated into a funny cartoon to share with all. This animations are done by using Go!Animate.

There are three parts to this report and each part poked into the incompetences of our ministers when they are handling some issues that needs to be rectified and corrected, but yet never been done due to their arrogances and also their focus on the international stage instead of our domestic problems.

Without further ado, enjoy the animations I’ve done for you below:-
